Video from my Garden: Passiflora miniata ‘Maui’

Passiflora miniata ‘Maui’ is a beautiful red-flowered passion flower. It can be identified by its red petals and a black row of coronal filaments. Flowers are hummingbird pollinated in the wild and are not scented; bee pollinated flowers are typically the ones with pleasant scents. It’s not self fertile, but can be cross pollinated with P. edulis or P. incarnata, and the resulting golf ball sized fruit is edible and pretty. I bought my plant from Logees.com.
